There are some more objects which need insignificant amount of energy for the organization of lighting in a night-time. These include unlit pedestrian crossings, road signs temporary or fixed accommodation, public transport, decorative illumination of facades of buildings, emergency lighting in protected sites, billboards, park or street lights and so on. In most cases, when it is impossible or inexpedient to bring the electricity network, the problem is solved by the installation on the basis of solar cells.
The principle of work of such systems is traditional - in the afternoon due to generation of electricity from the solnenchny battery the battery is charged. At night the lamp automatically turns on and works in the necessary mode. An operating mode of the lamp the charge controler usually operates, and as light sensor in most cases the controler uses the solar battery. The charge controlers used in such systems have the sewed programs of management of loading and can turn on the lamp (or other loading) through the set time after sunset, then temporarily to disconnect loading (if it is necessary), and then again to include lighting in a definite time before sunrise. Some controlers of a charge allow to operate loading in real time, having the built-in hours. Naturally in all above-mentioned types of objects it is necessary to use LED light sources, as the most economic now. Besides it is possible to use motion sensors for turning on of the lamp is allows to save significantly the electric power and respectively reduces a total cost of the equipment.
In northern regions year-round operation of such systems is complicated because of sharp decrease in solar radiation in a winter season. Therefore in such cases it is necessary to reduce as much as possible the power of the lamp and average daily time of its work. As we mentioned our modules above are used by road services for realization of operation of traffic lights, lighting of dangerous crosswalks or road signs. For example, the active LED sign working from the solar battery functions so: the sign of the crosswalk is supplied with light-emitting diodes which eat from the accumulator. The accumulator is charged from the solar battery during daylight hours. The button of inclusion of LED illumination, and also the optical device which allows to include remotely a similar sign on other side of the carriageway is built in a rack of a road sign. The pedestrian presses the button, the sign "lights up" and the person quietly crosses the street on the crosswalk. Time of illumination of a sign depends on carriageway width. In some cities by means of our solar modules illumination of facades of ancient buildings in historical part of the city is carried out. It looks very beautifully at night. Along automobile routes and even within the city it is possible to provide illumination of a billboard or other advertizing structure if leading of a usual network is complicated. The complete set is selected in all these cases individually under needs of the customer.
Many summer residents use on the sites mini solar-powered lights for night illumination of paths or it is simple for scenery. A thing available at the price, convenient in operation, but service life in most cases the very limited - no more than one season. We solve this problem differently, using instead of the tiny individual solar battery, one large general solar battery and one general accumulator for all lamps. Service life of such product is much more and its power is much higher. But unfortunately there is one drawback - all the lights in this embodiment are wired, as it is necessary to sum up the power cable. In all cases from the customer the following data are required:
maximum power load;
background load power in standby mode (if motion sensors);
power supply load;
average daily operating time with a maximum load capacity and taking into account the seasonality;
operating system autonomous region of illumination;
seasonal operation of the system of autonomous lighting;
possibility of optimum positioning of solar modules, i.e. to the south and existence/lack of the details of a relief blocking the horizon.
Calculation of systems of autonomous lighting and supply of equipment are made on demand.
